Product information "Serapi"
Serapi are one of the rarest and most sought -after rugs. At the beginning of the 20th century, these rugs were linked in the mountains of Northwest Persia. Their design is very similar to that of the Heriz, but your link is finer and you tend to have more large patterns. They come in gentle pastel colors and were the favorite rugs of the Americans, which they used primarily in federal buildings such as the White House. The name is derived from the fact that the Weber in the mountains had to bring the rugs to the next city, which was called Serab. This is how people started to name the rugs "Serapi", rugs that you can buy in Serapi.
