Rizbaf are fine Gabbeh rugs with a higher knot density. These high -florite rugs are handmade by the Gashghai and Lori nomads. Rizbaf made of hand -spun wool is often made. With this material you have a lively and coarse -grained surface structure. At the same time, the surface is soft and cozy, ideal for rooms in which you like to move barefoot. Rizbaf are not only linked in monochrome natural colors, but especially in colorful and imaginative designs. Stylized patterns from the everyday life of the nomads, which show animals, plants or entire landscapes, can be found as well as geometric concepts.
