Product information "Kelim Harssin"
The village of Harsin is located in the Kurdish province in the deep west of Iran. The city is only inhabited by a few Kurdish families that Kelim Harssin traditionally weave by hand. The web technology comes from its Kurdish tradition. Usually they use hand -spun and thick sheep's wool. The Kelim are usually thicker, heavier and more robust than other flat tissue. Since there are only a few families and weavers left in this village, the Kelim Harssin is becoming increasingly less common. They are therefore real collectibles.
