Product information "Kelim Belutch"
Belutch rugs come from Khorasan in Eastern Iran. They are mainly made by Belutch tribes who live as nomads, semi-nomads or settled in villages. The rugs are handmade on horizontal looms. The Belutch kilims display exciting geometric patterns that run in abstract shapes. In addition, the weavers use the exciting Sumak technique, in which the flat weave is embroidered at the front. This makes the pattern stand out from the kilim in a fine profile.
